ELK HUNTS
Wapiti, the Indian name for Elk, is abundant in our area. Our Elk hunting is divided into three separate seasons. September 1 through September 30 is for Archery only. October 1 through October 21 is the first Rifle season. The September to October hunts are taken from our wilderness tent camp. From here we hunt bull elk during their rutting season. This is a very exciting time to hunt elk, offering the great challenge of bugling a big bull into shooting range. The late Rifle season begins November 18 and is headquartered from the hunting lodge. From here, we hunt bull and cow elk during their annual migration out of Yellowstone Park. Booking a hunt during this season will give you a great opportunity to hunt trophy 5 and 6 point bulls as they move to their winter range. The November hunts offer the highest success on bull elk with a 90-100% success rate. A November cow elk hunt is the perfect hunt for a youth, a first time hunter or a person who is not in good physical condition. Cow elk are very plentiful and our success rate always runs near 100%. Or you may write to them at: Wyoming Game & Fish Department Information Section 5400 Bishop Boulevard Cheyenne, WY 82002 If you are not a resident of Wyoming, be sure to request the Non-resident Big Game Hunting Application and Information Booklet. All hunting season dates are subject to change by the Wyoming Fish and Game Department. Applications for Elk hunting licenses are accepted January 1 through January 31 and the Drawing Date is February 21. AREAS TO APPLY FOR
Confirmations To confirm your reservation dates, a 50% deposit is required. Please send the required deposit when you BOOK YOUR HUNT. Personal checks are accepted for the deposit only. The balance is due before the Hunt begins and must be in the form of Traveler's Checks, bank draft or cash. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
