Sheep Mesa Outfitters is a second generation, family owned business that was founded by Dale Good in 1955.  Honesty, hard work, integrity and excellent hunting skills all played a part in the evolution of his outfitting business.   Hunters from all over the United States joined Dale and his guides on many successful, trophy acquiring hunts.  Dale operated Sheep Mesa Outfitters until 1988, which was when his son, Ron, took over the family operation.

Since acquiring Sheep Mesa Outfitters, Ron has expanded his role as an Outfitter.   The company now offers Pack trips and Fishing trips into the Yellowstone backcountry during the months of  July, August and September.  Sheep Mesa Outfitters is also one of the few Stock Outfitters located in Northwest Wyoming who are licensed to do business in Yellowstone National Park.

Quality hunts, offering very substantial success rates, are still the main-stay of Sheep Mesa Outfitters from September until November.  Ron has many people who are repeat guests at his Outfitting camp year after year.  We are sure you will be pleased with all of the accommodations and welcome you to join us.
